"CFlo commissioned a 50 TPH Micrograder BT50 modular wet processing plant in Belagavi district, Karnataka, India to transform silica sand into high-quality foundry sand while improving product quality, plant efficiency and water management. Designed for a leading quartzite and foundry sand producer, the system processes crusher-produced silica sand, removes oversize particles and ultrafines, dewaters the final products and recovers process water for immediate reuse upto 95%. The installed system delivers AFS 30-40 construction-grade sand and AFS 50-60 foundry sand simultaneously, while also meeting the customer's broader multiple AFS requirements from one compact installation. Following commissioning, the operation achieved consistent sand quality, reduced dependence on manual washing, and increased plant yield by minimizing product losses.
