Blaupunkt launches 50-inch 4K HDR 10+ smart TV at Rs 36,999

German-based audio-video brand Blaupunkt has expanded its range of smart TVs in the country with the launch of 50-inch 4k HDR 10+ TV. The new smart TV carries a price tag of Rs 36,999 and will be open for pre-booking from August 6 via Flipkart.
Blaupunkt 50-inch smart TV runs on Android 10. It is powered by a MediaTek processor with Arm Cortex A53. The smart TV packs 2GB RAM and offer 8GB internal storage.
It is equipped with 60watt audio output with 4 speakers. The new smart TV comes with Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround certified audio and Dolby MS12 sound technology.
It features a 50-inch IPS+ panel and has a peak brightness of 500 nits. The smart TV comes with an in-built Google Chromecast and Apple Airplay that supports over 1000 apps.
Blaupunkt smart TV comes with a voice-enabled remote control and has dedicated shortcut keys for Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube and Google Play.
Last month, the company launched four Android TV models in India. It unveiled smart TVs in four screen sizes- 32-inch, 42-inch, 43-inch and 55-inch. All these TVs are priced at Rs 14,999, Rs 21,999, Rs 30,999 and Rs 40,999.
The 32-inch version is powered by Android 9 and comes with 40W speaker output. The 42-inch FHD Android TV too is powered by Android 9 and includes a 40W speaker.
The 43-inch 4K TV has Dolby Digital Plus and DTS TruSurround certified audio and is powered by Android 10. While the 55-inch model has a 60W speaker output with Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround certified audio and Dolby MS12 sound technology.
