The CFlo Reurban D5100 wet processing system in Dahisar, Mumbai, is the first of its kind to recycle construction and demolition waste in Maharashtra. It processes up to 600 tonnes a day and was selected for its compact design, quick setup, and steady production of recycled sand - even when handling mixed urban waste like concrete, brick, stone, soil, plastic, and secondary metals.
The project brings two major environmental gains. It diverts thousands of tonnes of waste from landfills and improves air quality by reducing open dust piles.
This model sets a clear path for other cities: collect and track waste, process it with a modular high-tech recycling system like Reurban, and ensure the city commits to using the recycled materials.
